This health & safety course aims to provide employees with an understanding, which will enable them to relate and contribute to any health & safety management system. It will also give delegates the information and knowledge on safety subjects they will be faced with on a daily basis in their place of work.
Delegates will be required to successfully complete a 30 multiple choice question paper in order to pass and receive their CIEH Certificate.

Who should attend: Any employee with little or no subject knowledge.
This course is an ideal follow up for delegates who have undertaken the CIEH Foundation Certificate in Health & Safety in the Workplace course and goes into COSHH in more detail. Successful completion will prepare delegates to look carefully at their own work activities and contribute to the safer use of hazardous substances.
On successful completion of a short Multiple choice test, candidates will be awarded a certificate from the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health.

Course Duration: Half Day
Who should attend: Ideal for persons having passed the CIEH Foundation Health & Safety course or for those requiring a more detailed insight into this subject.
This course is well suited to individuals who have passed the CIEH Foundation Certificate in Health & Safety in the Workplace course. It is aimed at employees who carry out manual handling activities at work and introduces delegates to the hazards of manual handling, the risks involved and the controls available.
Successful completion will prepare learners to look carefully at their own work activities and contribute to the development of safer methods, in co-operation with their managers and supervisors.
On successful completion of a short 20 question multiple choice paper, students will be awarded their CIEH Certificate.
